The public relations firm hired by members of the Electoral College who want to reverse President-elect Trump's victory has connections to President Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

The Daily Caller reported Tuesday that Megaphone Strategies was co-founded by Van Jones, who worked in the Obama administration as the green jobs czar before resigning in 2009. Molly Haigh, another co-founder of the firm who works as its president, also worked for Obama on his 2008 presidential campaign.

Vien Truong, one of the firm's four board of directors, was a headliner at a fundraiser for Clinton organized by the CleanTech Party, an environmental organization that endorsed Clinton, according to the Caller.

Other employees at Megaphone also have connections to Democratic politicians.

Diane May, communications manager for Megaphone, worked on Obama's 2008 and 2012 campaigns and worked for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders on his 2016 presidential campaign.

The firm is working with Texas Republican elector Chis Suprun, who has promised to not vote for Trump, and a handful of other "faithless electors." The group of electors have refused to cast their vote for Trump because they believe he is a dangerous demagogue and their position allows them to make their own choice.
